Dashavatara
AÂ mythological view
Belonging to the Hindu Trinity of Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh (Creator-Preserver-Destroyer), Lord Vishnu is believed to have assumed ten incarnations, known as Dashavatara (das-ten, avatar-incarnation), to protect the divine order on Earth. Each Avatar plays a distinct role in portraying the Hindu philosophy’s take on human evolution.
